Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Fan Demands DICE Can't Ignore

9. Map Voting Options

The ability to select outright or place your vote on the next arena / map / planet is a fundamental facet of the modern online shooter genre, but is also one which is inexplicably absent from the Star Wars Battlefront series.

With so many planets and locales available to DICE, and the potential day/night and dynamic weather variations on the table to further mix up the formula, it is inconceivable that we are still essentially Force fed (not sorry) a predetermined map at the start of each new match.

When even free to play (though admittedly pretty good) games such as Warface allow you to cast your vote for the next arena, Battlefront III absolutely needs to offer something similar to fans from all corners of the Galaxy.

Perception is everything, and as we currently have no agency in the choice of maps and stages, it often feels as if we're stuck constantly playing Maz's Castle on loop.

Since we also tend to play these maps twice in succession (Light/Dark side), why not introduce some more choice?

Baking, twin Sunshine on Mos Eisley, or twilight on Naboo? A hammering rain on Endor, or an unseasonably cold day on Mustafar?

The choice should be yours.
