Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Fan Demands DICE Can't Ignore

7. Seamless Ground-To-Space Transitions

One of the best features of the original Star Wars Battlefront games of the mid 2000s is also one of the most obvious and baffling omissions of the reboots.

The ability wage war on foot, jump into a waiting TIE fighter, fly up through the atmosphere and into space, land in the open hangar of a Capital ship, then jump out and continue to run and gun - all in real time - was epic in every sense of the word.

With the introduction of unit and hero unlocks via the spending of points accrued through prowess in battle rather than via the random pickups of old, these seamless transitions were naturally jettisoned along the way.

With the potential for vastly increased scope and scale in the third installment, DICE ned to find a way to bring back the ability to jump in and out of land and air vehicles at will, then hop in an X-Wing to live out your Poe Dameron fantasies (no, not those ones...), even if it is just in a select mode or two.

If Ubisoft can achieve this in Starlink: Battle for Atlas, then surely DICE can do the same for Star Wars.
