Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Ways To Make The Perfect Sequel
5. Better Hero Balancing
Hero balancing has been an issue in Battlefront 2 for quite a while now. While the heroes work fine enough in regular game modes like Galactic Assault and Supremacy, their shortcomings grow more noticeable in Heroes vs Villains.
HVV is one of Battlefront 2's most popular game modes, and also one of its most frustrating to play. Rage quitters are common, team balancing is a regular issue, and the gameplay itself can often prove laborious, with spawns allowing well coordinated teams to isolate players quickly, and certain abilities providing an unfair advantage over other characters.
There is the occasional well crafted duel - where either player will emote to each other and engage in something actually quite cinematic - but all too often matches can devolve into people spamming attacks and other special abilities.
For Battlefront 3, DICE need to have a long look at how to finely balance their heroes and villains. HVV should be the funnest mode to play, but for the past two years, it's been anything but.
