Star Wars Battlefront 3: 5 Reasons Why It Definitely Needs To Be Made

2. Success Of Recent Games, Failure Of Others

Now the one good thing to come from the cancellation of Star Wars Battlefront 3, is the 2008 action adventure, Star Wars The Force Unleashed. I loved it because I love Star Wars, but I can't help but think that what I was seeing should have been Battlefront 3. Some of the graphics and models in the game were very good and it pained me to think of how they would have looked with Battlefront 3. All hope isn't lost in one sense though. The thing I would be looking out for, if it were to be released, are the gameplay elements from some of the recent games to come from Star Wars. In Battlefront 2, we could control a Jedi and hack and slash to our heart's content. One little famous space port and mode actually allowed a full scale Jedi/Sith battle. So think about how it would be now we have had The Force Unleashed? I would love to step onto the snow of Hoth as Vader once more, with Force mechanics from The Force Unleashed. Choking Rebels to your hearts content and tossing around vehicles on other maps would be a truly satisfying experience. Another game we recently had was Star Wars Kinect. Don't worry, I think it was awful too, but that's the beauty of what that game has done. Many of us old fans have seen what is there in place of Battlefront 3, and are more united than ever to have the rightful game in our hands. Seeing the rubbish outcome of that game has for some of us, ignited an angry flame inside to see LucasArts actually give the fans the game they all want.
