Star Wars Battlefront: 8 Big Things It Must Learn From The Older Games
2. Neutral Factions Add Variety
To further add to the authenticity of Battlefront's maps, DICE would be mad not to use neutral factions in battle. Jawas, Tusken Raiders and Wampas were all fun to fight and flee from, and further enhanced the feeling that you were actually fighting for control of a planet in the Star Wars mythos. Pitting factions against each other in the sequel's hilarious 'hunt' mode was a neat little distraction to the title's more epic battles, but playing as these iconic characters isn't really necessary to DICE's Star Wars experience - though their presence will certainly further enrich the experience of reliving these classic Battlefronts today. Running into a Wampa on Hoth would prove to be the worst case scenario for many players trying to flank the opposing side, but it would just make for a game unmistakeably cinematic and Star Wars in nature.
