Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy PS4 Review

Out With The Master & In With the Padawan

Unlike Outcast, Academy focuses on the journey of one young Padawan seeking to become a Jedi and learn the ways of the force. Jaden can be played as a human male, female or even different alien species that are more than familiar at this point.

Not only that, but there is even lightsaber customisation which will allow players to choose the blade colour and the hilt type. Even though this might not get as granular as Jedi Order, this more than does the job and will allow everyone to get to the action sooner.

The customisation doesn’t stop there either, as later on in the game as Jaden reaches the rank of Jedi Knight, they will then have the option to wield two blades, Attack of the Clones-style, or choose the double-bladed lightsaber and follow in the footsteps of Darth Maul.

Saying that, there is still the same wide array of blasters, thermal detonators and so on to combat the enemy with. If for some reason anyone gets bored of using one of the most iconic fictional weapons of all time!
