Star Wars: Squadrons - 10 Reasons To Be Excited
4. The Chance To See Two Different Perspectives
Star Wars is very often defined by its conflict. Light versus Dark. The rebellion are the good heroes fighting against the evil tyranny of The Empire. However, what makes Star Wars so interesting is the shades of grey in these perspectives. Content such as The Mandalorian and Claudia Gray’s Lost Stars novel have shown both sides of the war and what it means to fight on either side.
This makes the single player campaign of Star Wars: Squadrons one of the most exciting parts of the game. Not only are we getting a story in a relatively unexplored era, we are getting a story told from both perspectives of the war. This could make for incredible moments of character and conflict within the narrative.
While Iden Versio's story of redemption was a little bit uneven in Battlefront II, it appears that Star Wars: Squadrons is offering players a classic, old school tale of war.
