8. A Morality System
Already somewhat a feature of the franchise, the morality system is simply begging to be improved upon.
Whilst only a footnote in the previous two entries (a light-side ending and a dark-side one), having a complex morality system in the game akin to titles like Mass Effect would present bold new plot opportunities for the series to take. The choice to embark on the path of the light-side of the force or to succumb to the dark-side is one not easily taken, but given the opportunity it's obvious that players would wish to dabble in both.
Choosing who and what succumbs to the blade of a Lightsaber would embed the threequel in the maturity the series is already known for. Not only would it add variety to both the narrative and gameplay, but the game would be made evermore replayable by the multiple story opportunities presented.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
