So, here's the thing - it's dinosaurs, in a 3D Mario game. Not only that, but players can control a T-Rex thanks to Mario's new capture ability. If that hasn't sold you on this world, then perhaps nothing will. Fossil Falls looks to mix a large, open space full of secrets and platforming as Mario desecrates probably priceless fossils by leaping all over them, with some element of water, as the stage includes an enormous waterfall.

It'll be interesting to see just how much this world differentiates itself from the Steam Gardens, as both are wide open grassy spaces. Another thing to look out for is just how many dinosaurs are actually in the game - is this a fully blown Jurassic Park, or just a T-Rex pen? Regardless, Fossil Falls has the unique honour of being the first dinosaur themed level in a 3D Mario game, so it'll be interesting to see just how much Nintendo pushes the idea.
