Super Smash Bros. Switch: 10 Characters We Want To See

5. Spring Man

To help advertise Nintendo's newest original IP, Spring Man would definitely be a great choice for a new challenger.

Really, any of the fighters in Arms could be included as a character in Smash Brothers because all of them have fantastic visual designs and valid fighting skills. Of course, because he's the main mascot, Spring Man should definitely be the first one up for bat.

Spring Man utilises his own springy arms to attack enemies at range and up close. This would work well for his basic combos and throws and make him a very versatile character with range and power. One of the main draws of Arms is that each character can swap between different arms and have different powers attached to their punches.

This could very well fit into the Smash Bros. gameplay by having one each special have a different element tied to it. Spring Man also has a counter, as seen in the Arms gameplay, which could be used as his down special similarly to Marth and Little Mac.

The other Arms characters could also be included as palette swaps for Spring Man. At the very least, Ribbon Girl should also make an appearance as a skin swap.
