Super Smash Bros. Switch: 10 Overpowered Characters It Must Fix

6. Zero Suit Samus

Super Smash Bros
Nintendo

Zero Suit Samus may not be the best ground fighter, but her dominance in the air and with recoveries makes her an overpowered character.

Being in the air is key to playing Samus as effectively as possible, as her strength lies in the fact that her aerials either have great juggling potential, or are fantastic at knocking opponents out.

Another great strength of Samus is the fact that she has multiple different ways of recovering. Her down special essentially gives her a third opportunity to jump, whilst her tether grab also allows her to recover from far away as a last resort. Combining all of these means that it can be extremely difficult to predict what Zero Suit Samus is going to do at any time, making her hard to punish

All of these factors contribute to a fighter that is extremely hard to counter in the air, and certainly a step up from her previous suited self.
