Superman: 10 DC Games Rocksteady Should Make Instead

6. The Flash

Flash fans won't need reminding that the hero has come tantalisingly close to gaming glory before, only for it all to end in tragedy, but it should offer encouragement that WB Games are interested in the character.

Though the Scarlet Speedster arguably presents the same challenges for a gaming adaptation as the big blue boy scout, he can also sleep soundly knowing that he's the more interesting of the pair. The character has a fantastic history to draw from, an equally fantastic set of powers and a tremendous supporting cast of characters including - by the way - the third best rogues' gallery of all time (just behind Batman and Spider-Man).

The logistics behind a Flash title might present their own challenges, but the chance to tell a truly unique story - on top of the fact the character has a strong fanbase - should give cause for a game to be made.

Oh, and have Wally take the lead. He's the best one.
