Tekken 7: 10 Characters That Must Return

6. Lee Chaolan/Violet

Lee Chaolan is the adopted son of Heihachi Mishima. Heihachi adopted him to give Kazuya a rival as a child, and the two never grew to be close siblings. Lee adopted the Violet persona in Tekken 4 so that he could fight under an alias in order to steal the Mishima Zaibatsu away from his adopted family. Lee has appeared in almost every game with the exception of Tekken 3. He serves as a foil to Kazuya and is an interesting fighter. He began as a Law clone, with a smattering of moves from Paul. Over the course of the series he's evolved into his own fighter. Within the story, he also plays a pretty interesting role. In one way, he's the jealous adopted brother of Kazuya; always trying to find a way to one up him. Lee and Kazuya have a relationship similar to that of Anna and Nina Williams. Yet, he also plays the role of the conniving corporate guy in terms of his relation to the rest of the cast. Most of his schemes have little to do with the supernatural nature of the Mishima clan, but rather with the corporate side. He has a particular place in the series, making him especially worthy of inclusion in Tekken 7.
