Telltale's Batman: 10 Comic Stories That Would Be Great Inspiration

8. Batman & Robin: Reborn

In the aftermath of Final Crisis, Bruce Wayne was no longer Batman, having been unceremoniously 'offed' by Darkseid in its closing issues. Instead, Dick Grayson assumed the mantle of the Bat, and with him came a new Robin - Bruce's son, Damian. Some of the best bits of Morrison's run on the character are to be found here, and though we know already that the studio will be focussing resolutely on Bruce Wayne's experiences under the cowl, there's enough stuff in Reborn to draw inspiration from - not least in its immaculate colour pallet and pencils. Colourful and crazy villains like Professor Pyg (who most fans will now be familiar with thanks to Arkham Knight) and The Flamingo all make appearances in the series, with the former especially seeming to fit right at home in a TellTale adaptation. Pyg - ever the sadist - has a modus operandi distinctly ghoulish, taking great joy in melting people's faces off and replacing them with masks to make them his 'Dolltrons'. They become extremely hostile in their zombified state, and showing Bruce's first encounter with such a villain would make for a fantastic opening season, especially if it managed to retain a key sense of mystery.
