7. Year One
Out of all the collected storylines featured on this list, Year One would seem to be the most apt for a TellTale game. As stated in the developer's initial press release regarding the Batman project, the series intends to focus on "the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy. Gotham has always been a crooked place, but could this announcement hint towards a possible mob storyline? It would make sense, as it eliminates some of the key personalities of Batman's rogues that more often than not tend to overshadow his presence. Frank Miller's reimagining of Batman's first year on the job is still controversial, but it's hard to argue that it hasn't come to define the character's early years in an unstoppable way, with Batman Begins in particular having drawn huge inspiration from the title. There's a lot in there for TellTale to work with, but the main themes of corruption could work to their benefit, so long as they forego the usual interpretations of how Batman forged his relationships with the GCPD. Indeed, there's a danger that any series that does venture early into Wayne's career as a vigilante could end up needlessly retreading material and themes already well-traversed by now. Corruption in particular is an angle that's been done to death in the Bat-mythos, so any approach made towards it needs to be innovative above all else.
