Telltale's Batman: 10 Comic Stories That Would Be Great Inspiration
6. Dark Victory
One of the many things we don't yet know about the title is whether or not the game will be a solitary tale of Batman on his own against the elements, or one accompanied by his impressive cast of colourful supporting characters. Robin to many represents the very antithesis of Batman's stealthy approach to crime fighting, but omitting him entirely completely neglects the evolution of Bruce Wayne as a character. Of course Batman can have adventures on his 'own' (accompanied by his loyal butler and friends at the GCPD), but to dismiss his allies entirely would be a grave error developers haven't yet made (though claims can certainly be made that Rocksteady fudged their treatment in Arkham Knight). Dark Victory was the fist sequel to Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's The Long Halloween, and offered its own retelling of how Dick Grayson became the first Robin. If we are to take the belief that TellTale are focussing on Bruce's formative years under the cowl then there may be a possibility that they'll be looking at his allies as well. Dick and Barbara Gordon are the most likely choices to see on screen opposite Bruce in the series, but in the case of the former, looking towards Dark Victory and Harvey Dent especially would certainly be beneficial to the game moving forward.
