The Elder Scrolls: 10 Best Morrowind Quests
2. Morag Tong Questline
Not to be confused with Scottish ladies of the same name, the Morag Tong is a centuries old guild of assassins, who commit murder in the name of Daedric Prince Mephala.
What sets them apart from other, similar groups, is that the Morag Tong are sanctioned by the rulers of Morrowind; their actions legitimised via a system of writs.
Should the player locate the Morag Tong headquarters in Vivec, the opportunity arises to join this clan of clandestine killers.
What distinguishes the Morag Tong questline from others and elevates it to new heights in the process, is that it is simple in its goals, but oh, so satisfying to play through.
With literally only one or two exceptions, there are no noble acts to perform here; no lost treasures to unearth nor missing damsels to rescue - it's just a murder spree.
Communicated via the aforementioned writs, the player takes on these individual contracts with one single objective: kill the person (or persons) named upon the writ.
Just kill them, that's all.
With nine levels / ranks to work through, and nearly thirty contracts to execute (pun very much intended), there's a lot to do for the Morag Tong, and you'll have a blast doing it.
