The Elder Scrolls: 10 Things You Didn't Know About Khajit

7. They Are Often Victims Of Kidnapping

When a player loads up an Elder Scrolls game and reaches the character customisation screen, one trait that they will see when looking through the Khajiit is the added unarmed damage they get from their long claws.

This is obviously a by product of their feline-like being, but it is also a valuable thing to possess when it comes to trekking around the world of the Elder Scrolls.

As players of the Elder Scrolls will know, the roads around Tamriel are far from safe and Khajiit are often forced to spend long periods of their life wandering around them in the hopes of carving out a decent livelihood.

What players perhaps didn't know is that these roads can bring with them certain targeted dangers for these caravans and traders. Kidnappings and trafficking is a common threat for the Khajiit to have to contend with from bandits and highwaymen most commonly.

There's a highly lucrative trail from Elsweyr into the Dark Elf homeland of Morrowind that has proven to be a favourite for criminals to earn some septims.

The Khajiit have an unfair reputation of being thieves, smugglers and dependant on moon sugar which is probably what stops the other races of Tamriel banding together and actually helping out with this problem a bit more.
