The Elder Scrolls: 10 Things You Didn't Know About Khajit

5. Khajiit Characters Can Become Werewolves

Werewolves were first introduced to the Elder Scrolls universe back in Elder Scrolls Daggerfall and were one of the rarest enemies found in the game.

They could only be killed by using silver weapons or higher, and carried with them a chance of infecting players with lycanthropy, which will eventually turn players into werewolves if left untreated.

Werewolves and lycanthropy would return in the Bloodmoon expansion for Elder Scrolls Morrowind, where nine wandering werewolves and the daedric lord Hircine during the main questline also offer players the chance to gain the power of the moon.

Players would then have to wait until Elder Scrolls Skyrim and The Companions for another chance to take a beast form however. Whilst it is easily the dullest guild to work through (Bards excluded), being a werewolf and marauding through the Skyrim wilderness sure is worth the grind.

What some players might not know is that it's more than possible to take on the form of one of Hircine's chosen in all of these games even as a Khajiit.

It doesn't make much sense that a feline creature can suddenly take on the form of a giant canine, but it's nice that Elsweyr's finest weren't left out.
