The Elder Scrolls: 10 Things You Didn't Know About Khajit

3. They Put Moon Sugar In EVERYTHING

Moon sugar is one of the Elder Scrolls' world's most famous ingredients, appearing in Morrowind, Skyrim and Online over the years.

Used to brew skooma and primarily in game to create potions that aid in restoring magicka and battling against the environment hardships, it is native to the forests in southern Elsweyr and absolutely crucial to the Khajiit society.

The biggest export out of Elsweyr both via trade and through underground black markets, moon sugar is illegal to buy, sell and consume within the boundaries of the Empire due to its highly addictive nature.

However, in the Aldmeri Dominion, it is perfectly legal to have in possession, consume and make use of, adding to the list of reasons why Elsweyr is still currently an ally of the Elves.

For the Khajiit, it appears that moon sugar's addictive nature has already taken a hold of them however. It is believed that the substance is blessed by the moons and gods in the pantheon, and it is regularly sprinkled or infused into every dish the Khajiit consume.

The Khajiit's love of candies, cakes and other confectionaries is well known throughout Tamriel, but what's less well known is the fact that these felines believe they are eating parts of a god when they tuck into something sweet.
