Speaking of cutscenes, why not flesh out the production budget and wrangle up a selection of legendary vocal chords to pad out the world? It seems ever since Rockstar made their bold claim with GTA IV that 'people only hear the actor, not the character' that everyone previously thinking of getting celebrities involved in their games ended up letting it fall by the wayside. Skyrim had a few notable names like Max von Sydow and Joan Allen, but no one on the level of Oblivion's Patrick Stewart. The Elder Scrolls series should feel every bit as weighty and important as any fantasy-styled silver screen brethren, and part of bringing that to life is just as much through the script as through those voicing it.
