6. An Entirely New Continent/Location

The lore of the Elder Scrolls series is one of the richest in gaming. We already know about a large extent of the history of the world and its sentient races, as well as the geography and mythology. However, most of this is focused on one major part of the world, and we€™re quickly running out of places to explore.

Elder Scrolls VI would be a great opportunity to really expand on the known lore by taking us to somewhere entirely new €“ somewhere which hasn€™t been seen or heard of before. Not only is there potential for all-new races, wildlife and plant life to be explored, but there€™s also the possibility of things like different schools of magic and powerful new godlike figures appearing in in these previously unknown parts of the world. It€™d be like discovering the world for the first time again.

Basically, being set in a totally new continent or island would be the series€™ way to revamp itself, and set itself apart the very similar styles shared by the previous titles (and which can get fairly monotonous). Sure, maybe not everyone will appreciate it, but sometimes a good shake up is exactly what€™s needed €“ and you€™ll never know unless you try.
