The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Things Bethesda Must Include

1. Being Able To Climb Anywhere

Breath of the Wild does a great many things perfectly, but one major innovation that many other open-world titles should crib, is the ability to literally climb anything.

Seriously, you don't realise how freeing and enjoyable it is until you can literally see a cliff face or set of ruins and start climbing them. Rest spots are dynamic based on the steepness of terrain, and overall it reinvigorates the idea of 'taking in' such a massive environment.

When the whole world can be treated as a massive level, I truly believe that's the future for the genre.

To be fair, we've long been awkwardly climbing mountains in Skyrim by looking for the portions where two textures 'meet' anyway - and there are plenty of horse memes seeing our faithful stallions stuck at 90 degree angles as we've forced them far away from home.

Some solid climbing mechanics would be a godsend, and something that can only enhance the overall experience of adventuring around Tamriel.
