1. Official Mod Support
PC owners have been indulging in the delights of mods both official and otherwise for decades now. They'll add fan-demanded content of their own accord, fix bugs far faster than the official team ever could - and all-round contribute to a better gaming experience. As such, the Skyrim of today is a far more accomplished and gorgeous game than it was back in 2011, all thanks to a fervent community of extremely talented individuals. Fallout 4 is going to see the first time Bethesda are allowing modded content to be freely available on home consoles, the only thing they'll be restricting is if people use game assets from other licensed properties.
Speaking to Kotaku, Todd Howard noted " have to get approval" for things like Master Chief making an appearance, so the whackiest content could still be possible in some form. Perhaps Fallout 4 will be the beginning of a truly glorious symbiotic age where developers and fan communities work in tandem to create the best experience possible? Time will tell, but as it's on the cards for the wasteland, surely it'll be included in Scrolls VI too.
