The Last Of Us 3: 10 Things We DON'T Want To See
1. Characters With No Substance/Pay-Off
It is fair to say that Naughty Dog have been exemplary in their writing so far. Joel, Ellie, Abby, Tess, Tommy, David; all have been fantastic characters no matter how small their parts.
The world of The Last of Us is filled to the brim with interesting people, but that doesn't mean the writers get it right every time.
When it came to the WLF, Isaac was constantly mentioned, either by the Wolves themselves or in the many notes and letters strewn around the land. He was the leader of this enormous faction of trained killers that even his own soldiers fear.
Sounds badass.
Despite this, he managed just a couple of short scenes before being killed off, which felt incredibly underwhelming after what felt like a significant amount of hinting and build-up.
This is not to mention the Elders of the Seraphites, which are given no screen time despite the significant presence of their cult throughout the game.
Although the story is about Ellie and Abby, these characters could have gone a long way to help build the rest of the world.
