9. Dina And Ellie Getting Back Together
This may seem harsh, but one of the main criticisms levelled at Part 2 was that the character did not stay true to their development.
Dina is portrayed as very determined and loyal whilst sweet and playful, making her one of the most appealing characters to debut in the second instalment.
She leaves Ellie in no doubt that, should she pursue Abby, then they are finished, and stays true to her word. Once Ellie returns, Dina has moved out of their farmhouse.
Many dissatisfied players have pointed out that Ellie leaving this way is in direct contrast to her fear of dying alone (as revealed in the first game in a conversation with Sam) and so we hope that Dina's character will not waver and she will stay true to her strong-headed nature.
Due to the events of The Last of Us 2, including Ellie's brutality and inability to forgive until it's too late, it is reasonable to say that Dina and newborn baby JJ deserve better.
