The Legend Of Zelda: 10 Most Disappointing Boss Battles
8. Big Green Chu Chu - The Minish Cap
It's always disappointing when a boss is just a souped-up version of a regular enemy. Although this is an unoriginal idea, the boss can still be tough if it is a jazzed up version of tricky enemy like an Iron Knuckle or a Darknut.
But for the first boss in The Minish Cap, the developers decided Link should fight a giant version of a Green Chu Chu. Since the Chu Chu is the easiest enemy in the game, that should give you an idea how straightforward this fight is going to be.
This gelatinous enemy has one attack; he chases you. He doesn't shoot anything or summon smaller enemies. He just runs after you like a lost puppy.
To beat him, you need to use the Gust Jar to suck away the lower part of his body. Once you've sucked away enough, the Chu Chu will be unable to balance himself and fall over, allowing you to slash him to ribbons.
Okay, he does kind of have to be easy, since he's the first game's first boss. But you only have to knock him over two or three times before he snuffs it, ending the battle in less than a minute.
