The Legend Of Zelda: 10 Most Disappointing Boss Battles

3. Morpha - Ocarina Of Time

After you complete The Water Temple (also known as the worst thing to happen to the gaming community), you'd assume there is no way the boss could be more frustrating than the level that preceded it. If you thought that way, you are... completely right, but that doesn't change the fact that the guardian of The Water Temple, Morpha, is the worst boss in Ocarina of Time.

Morpha is an amoeba who attacks by hurling you around the room with his Abyss-inspired water tentacles. You need to use your hookshot on the devilish blob to draw him towards you so can hack him to bits.

Because of the high platforms and automatic camera, it's hard to see where Morpha is. As a result, a lot of the fight is just waiting for him to be visible. Even when you do see him, he usually wriggles around at top speed, making it nearly impossible to lock onto him.

Also, Morpha's design is surprisingly unoriginal. I mean, fighting Bongo Bongo on a drum is ridiculous, but he looks cool as hell.

Considering Ocarina of Time is often hailed as the series' best game, it's surprising Nintendo settled for a boss whose design is so uncreative.
