The Order: 1886 - 10 Reasons You Need To Play It

3. The Half Breeds

The Order: 1886 - Gameplay Still 9 The Half Breeds are your enemy. They're big, they're scary - and they can make very light work of the unprepared. The AI of the Half Breed enemies is another break from the standard 'Attack! Attack!' mentality that most bad guys in shooter games employ. The way that they think, that they don't just attack like mindless drones, is something that changes up fight dynamic quite nicely. Unless you stay focused, you can easily lose track of them as the fight progresses, and having to finish them off before they regenerate gives a sort of urgency to the end of each fight. The Half Breeds bide their time. They use the environment to their advantage, and if you get more than two of them in one room, you best move quickly, because given a few seconds - there's not going to be much left of you to move. The design of the characters is great, and the transformation animations are pretty graphic - definitely reminiscent of An American Werewolf In London and the more recent Wolfman remake.
