The Walking Dead Game: 10 Reasons It's Better Than The TV Show

3. Emotional

The game that made everyone cry. Okay-that may not be true for all of you, me included, but you have to admit it was pretty heart wrenching. The game was very good at making almost every character likable. Every character had that little something that you could relate to which made saying good-bye to them especially hard. Even the characters you weren't to fond of would have an emotional breakthrough just before meeting their terrible fate, which left you as the gamer feeling just a little bit sad. You find yourself wondering, what choice could I have made so they would still be around? Even though you might have just told them explicitly to step-off in the previous scene. And the ending...well I won't spoil that here, but for those of you who have played it, you have to admit it was one of-if not the most powerful moment in gaming last year. The show has some emotional moments as well, but they don't seem to have the impact they should. For instance the emotional moment earlier this season, (which might be a bit of a spoiler,) was met with fan reactions to likes of "The witch is dead!" Now, I'm not asking the show to go full-on soap opera, but have just one moment to make even the manliest of men get steamy eyed. Then you will know for sure that the show is not just awesome, but extremely powerful as well.
