The Witcher 3: 10 Best Secret Quests EVERYONE Missed
7. A Tome Entombed
Playing as a grizzled killer of monsters, you’ll be spending a lot of time in the world of The Witcher 3 slaying various creatures of all shapes and sizes for coin. From wraiths, griffins, and leshens – and everything else in between – no beast is impervious to Geralt’s silver sword.
If you want to defeat every monster in the game, however, you’re going to need to travel deep into the sewers and tunnels that sprawl under the city of Novigrad to find the hidden quest A Tome Entombed. Make your way deep enough into the system of tunnels and you’ll eventually come upon an archaeologist attempting to open a sarcophagus where he believes an ancient elven document is hidden.
If you chose to give the scholar a hand and open the tomb, the only thing you’ll find inside is a very grumpy vampire who doesn’t take too kindly to being woken up a few centuries early. Hilariously, the scholar will ask Geralt to open the monster's resting place again to have another look for the document. This time the vampire won’t be so friendly, leaving you with no choice but to fight him.
