The Witcher 3: 10 Rare Weapons You Totally Missed
7. Ursine Crossbow
While Witchers are famed for the use of their two swords, that's not the only weapon in Geralt's admittedly rather overstuffed belt.
Despite being more of a situational tool, the crossbow is undoubtedly very handy in certain situations, and can make exploring the murky depths of the continent's lakes and rivers just that teeny bit less aggravating.
And arguably the best crossbow, or at least, the one that deals the most damage, is the Ursine crossbow.
Unfortunately, this is also one of the rarest crossbows, as you won't find it lying around on the body of a dead Drowner.
In fact, like all other Witcher set components, the Ursine crossbow can only be found in diagram form in a very specific location: A cave southeast of Old Watchtower.
The cave is actually home to the quest Here Comes the Groom, so if you're having trouble finding it, consider popping over to the Svorlag notice board in Spikeroog to activate the contract.
Like with the Harpy Sword, the crafting materials are relatively straightforward to acquire for the crossbow, so once you get your undoubtedly bloodstained hands on the diagram, the Crossbow is as good as yours.
