3. Return To Crookback Bog
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzEznYehY3o Location: Do the Bloody Baron's main quest line. Something indicative of a trend that'll surely come to pass following Wild Hunt, is the nature of a main series of quests having potential ramifications you'll only see the true extent of if you follow up on the side. One such major player in the early-game is The Bloody Baron, a very multi-faceted character who the developers make a point to show is by no means a hero or villain, every subsequent dialogue exchange you have with him potentially changing your thoughts on whether he should suffer or not for his past transgressions. Whilst his main story ends with Geralt going on his way after learning of the Baron's interaction with Ciri, you can choose to finish up tracking down his wife - for better or worse. As you'll come to find out, the state Anna is in when the Baron and his family are finally reunited depends on how you dealt with a certain tree demon earlier on - something that then heralds in one of the darkest optional moments in the game if you follow up on every character thereafter.
