The Witcher 4: 5 Ways To Do The Perfect Sequel
3. A Vesemir Prequel
Another popular concept amongst fans is a game centered on Vesemir's origin story. Though his age is never revealed, there is speculation that, at the time of his death, he was well over 200 years old, if not more. There has to be some game-worthy material in all that time.
A potential story could follow him on his prime as he earns renown on the Path and survives the massacre at Kaer Morhen before closing off with him taking Geralt into his care. In a way, the game could also be an origin story for the White Wolf if it portrays him as a child training at the dreaded gauntlet.
Since almost nothing about Vesemir's past is set in stone, CDPR would have valuable creative freedom with an already established character. Exploring a totally different world where witchers flourish and the Continent isn't engulfed by war through the eyes of a beloved character would be a plus on players' side.
