Titanfall 2 Review - 6 Ups & 5 Downs

4. Boss Fights Don't Live Up To Their Potential

It's extremely refreshing to see an FPS campaign with actual boss fights in it, but as much promise as they have, they're sadly over almost as soon as they get started.

Most of the bosses can be defeated in around one minute on even higher difficulties, so they come and go without much fanfare, as such lacking the dramatic or visceral impact you might hope for.

Also, the fact that the bosses themselves have virtually no character development and just show up for a quick fight before dying means it's hard to get particularly invested in what's going on.

Again, this could be easily improved for the next game, and though the fights are disappointingly spare, at least they bothered to actually include them at all.
