TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan - 10 Things Fans Are Going To Love

3. The 'Revive' & 'Pizza' Dynamic

As with any other co-op experience, 'downs' and revives are to be expected. The way Platinum have handled it in this title however is bound to make any Turtles' fan's heart beat with joy.

When K.O'd, Raph, Don, Leo and Mikey all withdraw to their shells for protection (in a remarkably cutesy style I might add), before heading home to the lair to stock up on pizza and head back out into the fray. But be careful, because the more frequently the Turtles are downed, the longer it takes for them to reach peak pizza-time and return to the fight. There's also the added worry of scolding their mouths if you chow down too quickly, which ends up prolonging the four brothers' healing period - a critical amount of time during boss encounters.

It may not be much, but Platinum should at least be commended for taking what is usually a rather mundane and clichéd aspect of co-op gameplay and giving it their own turtle-y awesome twist.
