3. Skater Specific Challenges

When the game drops this September, players old and new will get stuck right into old-school tape-collecting challenges, letter-collecting (S.K.A.T.E) sprees, score sprints and more across all of the classic Tony Hawk's levels. However, those worried that this is just two old games with shinier graphics shouldn't fret.

Each remastered title will add some new challenges for each level across both games. What's more, most of these are specifically tied to individual skaters, meaning Chad Muska's run through School 2 should be different to anyone else's. That's actually pretty clever, and again feeds that sense of replay value THPS was once known for.

Part of the fun will come from exploring all the different characters and seeing what unique goals they've got to complete. Hopefully, they're varied enough to keep things interesting and don't become impossible slogs for the sake of some ill-advised difficulty spike.

These games are tricky enough, so to speak.
