Top 10 Zombie Games Of All Time

4. Left 4 Dead 2

For the most part, Left 4 Dead 2 feels like an expansion of the original Left 4 Dead. The gameplay has been kept the same, but Valve have added new characters, maps, weapons and zombie types, which help to keep this feeling like a more fleshed out, refreshed experience. These new zombie types, which co-exist with the previous enemies, add even more tension to the game, with hoards getting so big at times that it often feels rather claustrophobic. The Left 4 Dead games are definitely one of the best multi-player zombie experiences you'll get, especially if you're after something that manages to amuse and scare you at the same time. The sound of an incoming Tank is scary enough on it's own. Shudder.

3. Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is often regarded as the greatest Resident Evil game by fans and critics alike. It refreshed the series which was in danger of becoming tired, and moved the events to a Spanish village, where the T-Virus has also been replaced by the Las Plagas. In Resident Evil 4, the action has been upped, whilst the puzzles were reduced, but the horror and tension are still very much there. Infested villagers are constantly closing in, ammunition is sparse and there's still that whole problem of not being able to run and shoot, so in short, it's a stressful experience, but a fun one. Plus, we get to play as Leon Kennedy, a series favourite. Click "next" below to read the next entry...
