Top 15 Robots In Video Games
5. Clank Never too far away from his rat-rabbit-tiger-humanoid friend Ratchet, Clank is the more thoughtful, problem solving half of this double act. Appearing in every game in the Ratchet and Clank series since their debut in 2002, Clank is a small robot who helps the player with puzzles and fit into tight spaces. He is also a badass due to his Inspector Gadget-like abilities such as; heli-pack, thruster-pack, and hydro-pack. Now up to their 10th full adventure, together Clank and his racially ambiguous partner have proven to be a popular Sony exclusive franchise. They have tried it on their own though; Clank took a backseat in Ratchet: Deadlocked and was later granted his own game with Secret Agent Clank, although Ratchets solo foray proved to be superior. Much like the classic Banjo-Kazooie formula, these two are better together, Clank shining brightest when in support of his furry friend. 4. Legion Shepard met Legion in Mass Effect 2, and he plays a pivotal part in the games epic story. Technically not a being, Legion is a consciousness made up of 1,183 geth, allowing those geth to have some fun hanging around in space. The geth and Legion are a good example of what happens when artificial intelligence becomes sentient. They almost destroy their creators and run run the show, so lets all smash up our computers before its too late! Despite his torch-face and flappy head, its hard not to like Legion. He creates some tricky choices in the course of the game and really makes you ponder the nature of the AI of the future.
