Top 15 Robots In Video Games

3. HK-47

Technically a droid, but droid is just a different word for robot in the Star Wars universe, in much the same way as Ewok is just a different word for midget-in-a-bear-suit. But anyway, HK-47 features in the Lucas masterpiece that is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. He€™s a violence loving friend who never fails to come up with funny lines. His €œcommentaries€ are pure brilliance, never failing to bring his dark humour to any situation. He isn€™t too fond of us €œflesh-bags€ humans, as they make him a little sick and he loves nothing more than a good killing, but that€™s why we love him. We salute you HK-47. 2. Mega Man Although his name might mislead, he is no man but he lives up to the Mega part of his name though. Mega Man is in fact the creation of Dr. Thomas Light, a scientist who in the future is apparently really good at making robots and things. As he is at the start of the difficult platforming games that bare his name, he has a place in many gamers hearts. This is another list entry from Japan. The Japanese must really love robotics...they did make the real life Asimo, after all. Although Mega Man€™s popularity may have waned in recent years, he was once up there with the likes of Mario and Sonic in terms of video game popularity. Now Mega Man resides with his hardcore fans, mainly due to his preference for the 2D realm of gaming. Perhaps not as popular, but still going strong is Mega Man 10, which was released in 2010 with full retro style and gameplay.
