13. Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec
Two words- Pikes Peak. The Suzuki rally car that was so insanely fast you could reach 6th gear, redline your RPMs, and STILL be squealing your tires. Theres nothing as satisfying as working your way through a game for weeks on end and finally getting a car like this one that lets you go back to the old races and blow everyone completely off the track. The formula 1 cars were loads of fun as well. If youre looking for a solid challenge, try doing one of the 300 lap endurance races with the Formula 1. Clear your schedule, itll take a while.
12. Shadow of the Colossus
If youve ever gazed at pictures of the ruins of the Coliseum, wondered what life must have been like 1000 years ago, or dreamed of going on adventures of Biblical proportions, this game was made for you. Coming in at the tail end of the PS2s lifespan and saving the best for last is Shadow if the Colossus. Creating an impossibly vast world and filling it with mysterious remnants of a civilization long since past, this game puts you into an epic adventure of classical and mythical proportions, letting you tame and master a beast (the horse, which will jerk your heart strings if you get attached to it), explore an enormous unknown frontier, and go into battle against literal giants, this game defines the epic experience, and was one of the first to do so. Its the story of David and Goliath come to life.
