Uncharted: 10 Jaw-Dropping Scenes We Couldn't Believe
7. Cargo Plane - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
As Nate's third adventure on PS3 sees him trot around the globe from the dingy backstreets of London, towering walls of a Syrian stronghold and the bustling boardwalks of Yemen, the search for Iram of the Pillars is halted suddenly when Sully is captured by the enemy.
Nate's undying loyalty to his friend and father-figure is enough to make him go through hell and high water to ensure his safety, but little did he know when he boarded the cargo plane that Sully was being transported on that he would end up falling thousands of feet from it into the harsh expanse of the Rub' al Khali desert.
Nate's plan to sneak onto the aeroplane is quickly foiled, and a fight ensues with one of Marlowe's grunts. The battle escalates and Nate dispatches of his adversary by pummelling him with some of the on-board cargo, but in doing so he too is flung from the plane's rear, barrelling towards the ground before latching onto an oncoming cargo box before pulling the parachute.
The scene is perhaps the closest our hero has come to death, not only with the unplanned descent to the ground but also the natural exposure of Earth's largest sand desert.
