5. (Optional) Stealth Segments Stick Out As Generic

It's almost like a required feature in every game these days, the old "trigger highlighted vision mode to see where you're going" shtick. Now Uncharted has a similar feature ripped straight out of Assassin's Creed, complete with guards who'll light up yellow when they're suspicious, and red when they're alerted.
The good thing is, you don't have to partake in these, they exist more just for the sake of introducing some more options to Nate's repertoire, incase you'd gotten tired after three past entries in the franchise.
Thinning the ranks through a few stealth kills might tip the nod to the likes of Metal Gear Solid V or Assassin's Creed, but Drake is more than capable of handling himself in a firefight, so whip out your pistol and fire off a few shots if you ever want to get back to the way things were.
