3. They've Figured Out How To Navigate You Through Set-Pieces

It's rarely talked about, as the majority of time is spent gasping in awe, but Uncharted's complex set-pieces and screen-filling 'movie moments' can occasionally be too much first time through.
A delicate balancing act, letting the player navigate through such things without dying or resorting to quick-time events has gotten the better of every other developer under the sun, so it's refreshing to note that Naughty Dog have improved even here.
Too many of us have perished right in the middle of these levels that are supposed to be so thrilling, and replaying them over and over can become incredibly tedious, if not purely because you know you're 'supposed to be' playing them far better.
