Speaking of bad decisions, Emily is prone to making one or two herself. Having somehow survived the radio tower collapsing, shes wandering around the mines looking for a way out. Since the mines are where the monsters live, theres no prizes for guessing that it isnt long before shes attacked. In running away from the Wendigo, Emily decides to board a conveyor belt for a bit of extra speed. Not a bad idea, really. However, this particular conveyor belt is for a wood chipper, which needs jumping over. Now normally, you can usually call Until Dawn out on its bluff when it comes to QTEs. Even if you miss them, whether accidentally or on purpose, theres usually only a minimal consequence so youd be forgiven for assuming this one was no different. Unfortunately for Emily, though, this QTE is vital. If you miss it, she falls directly into the grinder and instantly has her lower body crushed. No rescue, no chance of escape, just a horrible, painful death for failing a single QTE. And just like that, another one bites the dust.
