Until Dawn: 10 Biggest WTF Moments

5. Shooting Emily

Poor Emily just can€™t catch a break, can she? Then again, given her attitude throughout the game, maybe she deserves it. Whatever you think of her, there€™s no denying that having your friends turn on you for survival is a pretty terrible way to go. If she manages to escape from the clutches of the wood chipper, the Wendigo that€™s chasing Emily will eventually lose her tracks €“ but not before managing to leave her with a souvenir. More specifically, a bite on the neck. Now, Wendigos are not zombies €“ you don€™t turn into a Wendigo if you get bitten by one. However, the lads and lasses up on the mountain don€™t seem to know that, especially given the state of panic at the time. And unfortunately for Emily, Mike is in the basement with a gun. As the player, you have a choice €“ and you can choose to shoot Emily right there and then to protect the rest of your friends from potentially being killed. This death carries a bit more weight than a lot of the others, because it isn€™t a horrible monster that€™s killed you €“ it€™s someone you trusted and liked, turning on you in order to protect themselves. It doesn€™t feel good if Emily dies like this €“ but that€™s why it€™s on this list.
