The Walking Dead Game: 10 Horrific Things The Developers Made Us Do (So Far)
5. Stitching Clementine's Arm
For reasons that will be explained later on this list, halfway through episode one of season two the new central protagonist Clementine receives a serious injury on her arm that requires immediate medical attention. However upon meeting up with a group of survivors Clem is unable to persuade them that it is not a walker bite. As a result she is locked in a shed overnight to make sure she wont turn into one of the undead. Despite this, the brave young girl sneaks into the groups house and steals medical supplies so that she can stitch up up her arm to stop the wound getting worse. After exploring the house and stealing the supplies Clementine returns to her shed to do the daunting task that lies before her. At this point we have to take our imaginary hats off to Clementines always brilliant voice actress Melissa Hutchison for her faultless performance as the young heroine. As Clementine cried with pain we cannot stress how guilty we felt that we had not done a better job of protecting her. Again this was a part of the story that is scripted and meant to happen, but Telltale have really become too good at making the players feel like terrible people. This sequence seemed to go on forever and was a horribly arduous process that is just as unpleasant to experience even for a second time when you know what is coming.
I'm the sort of person who gets a job as a bike salesman despite the fact I can't ride a bike..... true story. Currently on a Gap Year before studying Media Production at Bournemouth University. Random fact: My kitchen door sounds like R2-D2!
