Why Apple Arcade Will Win The War Against Google Stadia

3. How Apple Arcade Differs

Apple’s approach to Arcade is a substantially better one; they say use the device you already have to play the games, with offline play and family sharing.

As usual, Apple’s approach is a far more intelligent one. Unlike Stadia, no controller is required, but your existing Xbox One S or PlayStation DualShock 4 controller will be designed to work with them. With family sharing for up to six members, Apple again have made a more inclusive platform for multiple people sharing one subscription.

Apple Arcade, unlike Stadia, doesn’t aim on replacing consoles or gaming computers, but rather gives the community another style of gaming to play with. Also, Arcade follows a subscription style service, so you can play all the games available for a monthly fee, without having to buy a game to see if you like it or not.
