The Witcher 3: 8 Reasons It's The Game Of E3

6. That Griffin Fight

No, not that Griffin. If you shoot something in the backside with a crossbow and follow it for miles over the landscape and pester it while it's healing up, there's probably a good chance it's gonna be annoyed with you. With a great cry, the Griffin that Geralt was chasing engaged him in battle in the E3 trailer, seamlessly transitioning from open-world exploration into fantastically-paced combat that saw everything from Griffin nose-dives to fancy spells being thrown around with reckless abandon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjxLEfnWG1E Perhaps the most exciting thing was the seamless way in which he combated the Griffin's aerial assault; just casually pulling out his crossbow again to shoot it down out of the sky, ready for the impending kill. If this is but a mere taster of what the monsters have to offer in this game, this is certainly worth putting high on your potential purchase list. We're particularly looking forward to wandering through the landscape and stumbling across a ridiculously powerful monster that instantly melts our faces because we're not strong enough - before coming back again later and carrying out sweet revenge, naturally.
