6. The Main Villains Are Circe And Hades

Just as Arkham Asylum opened with a story centred around Batman's most formidable adversary, the Joker, Wonder Woman looks to be doing the same. There are few villains as revered in the character's mythos as Hades and Circe, and it's for that reason that Montreal have likely opted to include the pair as the game's principle antagonists.
In the comics, Circe is an evil sorceress who has crossed paths with Wonder Woman on numerous occasions, while Hades is himself the literal God of the Dead. Both are taken from ancient Greek Myth, but the former potentially poses the more unique threat, with Circe herself particularly fond of turning humans into animals and humiliating them in the process. There was even, hilariously, a time where Wonder Woman herself was turned into a pig. (Batman sang in order to save her - it was very touching.)
So, what has brought them together? Well apparently both villains are concerned with finding the Source Wall, the barrier that can be found at the edge of the DC Universe and holds a range of cosmic traits. Here, the duo are apparently concerned with rewriting the very fabric of history - a fitting plot for Wonder Woman to foil.
